The next issue of Neotropical Binding is at proofing stage and all being well should be mailed to members by the end of March. We have used Andy and Gill Swash’s superb image of Blue-eyed Ground Dove Columbina cyanopsis on the cover as we discuss the latest taxonomic thinking on this critically endangered species in Tomas S. Schulenberg’s regular Splits, lumps and shuffles feature. There are also articles on finding the endemic birds of the Dominican Republic, seeing Caura Antbird Myrmelastes caurensis, and recent records of swift species in Peru in Birding at the cutting edge.
