eBird Creates Neotropics Major Region

Although choosing to call it Latin America and the Caribbean, eBird has created a new major region that aligns with the Neotropics or NBC area, https://ebird.org/region/latam This includes all of South America, Middle America (including Mexico) and the Caribbean, and all associated islands. This allows birders to see their Neotropics list and to gather data on the region as a whole rather than as various subsets as was previously possible. This will be a great help for those interested in the region. Thanks to all at the Cornell Lab for Ornithology who worked on this.
